I celebrate the "Otherness" of what I am. I specialize in gothic works of art. Anything in the realm of the odd,dark, mysterious and spiritual. Vampyres, day of the dead, New Orleans mysticism (Voodoo/Santeria/Paganism/Catholicism), Native American spirituality . I love doing portraits. The Black Tulip Studio is a dream to eventually be a Brick and Mortar gallery in the French Quarter that showcases all art that encapsulates these and similar themes. I also love to endorse any artist/gallery/shop that fits in with my aesthetics and beliefs.
All things that are considered taboo, creepy, odd, or just plain freakish always fascinated me since childhood. In fact, I recall my first crush as a child being Morticia Addams from the Addam's Family sitcom. As I grew, my paths in spirituality showed me what I was drawn to is not bad or "evil" but merely the balance. Since then I have (sometimes reluctantly) traveled the darker, twistier routes to find myself.  My shops are only the tip of a larger iceberg and I wish to show that creepy can be cute too and all things, even whimsical goth, can have a more meaningful purpose. This shop showcases my love for the Day of the Dead and other aspects of my gothic lifestyle. I hope you enjoy the journey with me.

I make polymer clay art jewelry. Often I attach my polymer clay jewels to crochet and art yarn pieces. My work is romantic, dreamy, hippie, boho, gothic, pagan and fantasy and fairy tale inspired. Color is what I love in and about life!! I love how everything gets more life and energy by adding color to it and how everything can express character with color. Another thing I love very much is stories. I love creating pieces that tell a story or are a depiction of a moment of a story in my head.

She lives on the surface of the Sun in Phoenix, AZ with her husband, two grown children and two old neurotic dogs.

Empath, tells fortunes, pagan but does not follow specific path.  Interests are reading, writing, learning new techniques and creating art and taking photographs in Cemeteries and of interesting architectural elements. Creating since age 5 but only recently offering items for sale. Member of D.A.M.N. and Halloween Artist Bazaar or "HAB" (www.halloweenartistbazaar.com).  HAB will have a shopping cart early in 2014 where I will be selling my Halloween creations.
